Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Service-learning teaches and reinforces 21st century skills in our students:  leadership, compassion, critical thinking, collaboration, and empathy.  By utilizing our FREE online resources through generationOn and Learning to Give, educators can connect their existing content to service-learning and philanthropy education all while addressing Indiana Academic Standards.  As one of the pathways to graduation, service-learning is an effective method of preparing youth for the future and engaging them in  meaningful, real-world content while developing critical skills and giving purpose to learning.  Participants will explore the website resources including the over 1700 teacher-created lesson plans that are free and available for incorporation, and learn about mini grant opportunities to assist with service-learning project funding.
